CONWAY, Ark. (March 28, 2017) – Two
ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø College student teams recently competed at the 14th annual Arkansas
Undergraduate Mathematics Competition at Harding University.
Participating ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø students included:
- Jacob Hines ’19
- Yuli Hong ’18
- Travis Howk ’17
- Jolli Khoo ’19
- Ollie Kwizera ’17
- Ryan Rose ’17
Twelve teams representing six Arkansas
colleges competed. Â
Winning Team Ramanujan (Hong, Howk,
and Rose) edged out second-place Team Galois (Hines, Khoo, and Kwizera) 79 to
78 in an exciting one-point duel.Â
These two teams have re-asserted
ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù꿉۪s dominance of this contest: nine first-place finishes in the last
10 years.Â
The contest will be held here at
ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø next February.
