Irmina Fabricio was born in Havana, Cuba. In 1983, she received a B.A in Economics at the University of Havana. SheÌýworked a total of 16 years inÌýthis profession in Cuba. Among other responsibilities, she would give lectures and conducted seminars to train technicians and professionals in the field of financial planning and accounting. Irmina came to the United StatesÌý2000. She workedÌýin an office in Miami for a year and a half. In 2002, she came to Conway and decided toÌýchange her career. In 2005, she completed a Master of Arts in Spanish at the University of Central Arkansas. Working closely with the master pieces of Spanish literature and Latin-American literature and culture changed her view of literature and awoke her real vocation: the teaching of language and literature. At present, she is a current instructor of Spanish at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø and is proud and happy to contribute to ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø students' education.
Irmina is also an active person in the Conway community. She teaches Spanish at the Faulkner County Library, offering two sections of children’s story time, each month of the year.
