Music Scholarship Information

Music Scholarships are available to all incoming students, regardless of major!

  • What's included:
    • Financial award of up to $1000-$2000 per year
    • Half-price private lessons
    • Participation in lessons and ensembles
  • How to get one:
    • During your sophomore or junior year in high school: meet with and audition for a member of the music faculty. You can schedule an audition on campus or send in a recording.
    • During your senior year in high school: in your application to ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø, indicate that you'd like to be considered for a Co-Curricular Scholarship. From there, schedule an on-campus audition or submit a recording within 30 days of completing your ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø application. Your acceptance to ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø and notification of scholarship offers will be sent to you once your audition is complete.
  • Renewing your scholarship: Music Scholarships will renew yearly for ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø students as long as the student is actively enrolled in the appropriate music ensemble for their instrument and private lessons on that instrument every semester. Some students at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø pursue study abroad for a semester or a year; in this case, those students' music scholarships would continue assuming they resume their involvement in lessons & ensembles upon their return to campus. See below for a list of eligible scholarship instruments and their associated ensembles.
  • Other scholarships: Music Scholarships may be awarded in combination with most other ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø scholarships.

Consult with your admissions counselor or email one of the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø music faculty to learn more.
